How can we conduct user research on a limited budget?
If you have an email database, you have plenty of potential testing subjects - from prospective and current students to alumni. Get started by sending an email with a screener survey to find the right demographics and persona. Sometimes it’s not so easy as having a database full of emails, that’s where recruitment services and social media advertising come into play. Services like UserTesting.com and Survey Monkey offer inexpensive options. Facebook and other social media platforms can also be effective in recruiting testing subjects.
